The Canterbury Hockey Platinum division in an increasingly growing and competitive grade of Hockey for Secondary school aged participants.

The Canterbury Hockey Association Rules and Regulations requires all High School year 9 and 10 players that play club hockey to play in this grade.

Year 11s,12s & 13's can choose whether they play in this grade or move up to a more senior grade (usually to Sunday League Championship or Sunday League Premiership Grade).  Once a player moves up to the senior grades they cannot return to platinum grade.

SUHC generally enters 2x Boys Teams, and 4-5 Girls teams depending on numbers.
