The Platinum Grade is designed for Under 18 Secondary School Students only. Year 9 and Year 10 players can only play in Platinum Grade. The Platinum Grade will be be structured into Platinum divisions. The number of divisions will depend on the number of teams, clubs enter into the competition. In 2018 we had 4 Platinum Teams across four grades. Teams will be entered into Divisions based on 2018 final placings and will go through grading in the early stages of the 2019 season. Teams may be promoted or demoted within the Platinum Divisions based on their results of the first round robin games.

Platinum Womens Grade will train once a week, day and time to be confirmed and will compete on a Sunday.

Platinum One

Competitive Grade, Best players from under 18 pool according to trial selection criteria, Development focused with emphasis on Improving Player Hockey IQ (Conceptual Understanding and Implementation), Improving individual skill level, developing team culture / environment that promotes players developing increased passion and desire to be competitive while enjoying playing, developing personal accountability and establish self led learning



Platinum Two

Development Grade, identified potential, focus on individual development of ball skills, and off the ball work, introduction and development of team concepts and improving understanding of positions as well as they introduction of competitive elements. This grade will also have strong elements of social enjoyment.



Platinum Three and Four

Development Grades focused on a few points including improving basic ball skills and set plays. This will also be ideal for players with more focus on participation and social aspects of the game  - playing with friends and having some fun.


Pre season Fitness and Skills Workshops commence in February, led by Senior Premier Players,  in preparation for trials.
