The Division Three Men's Team is a Development Grade for those players wanting to be improve their skills and hockey knowledge in a competitive grade that also has social aspect to it for players wanting to play within their peer groups. The team trains once a week and competes on a Sunday.
Players can be Year 11 and above Secondary School Students, University Students or Adults. The make up of the 2018 team was mostly older Secondary School Students. *Year 9 and 10 players can only play Platinum Grade (CHA implemented restriction) - please refer to their grade description.
Players should display good hockey ability, a limited understanding of hockey concepts and strategy. Players normally have varying levels of fitness. There should be a willingness to learn in areas that have been identified for development and to take on board feedback from coaches. Personal accountability and commitment to the team and club is expected by way of attendance at trainings and games, contributing positively to the team culture and environment as well as supporting club events and fundraisers. Players from time to time, maybe required to fill up into the Division Two Men's Team (within the competition restrictions).
Pre season Fitness and Skills Workshops commence in February, led by Senior Premier Players, in preparation for trials.
